Dr. Dornisch often teaches undergraduate courses such as Introduction to the Literature of the Bible and Christian Thought Today, as well as graduate courses such as Trends in Ministry and Religious Traditions in the Contemporary World.

Loretta especially enjoys working with students in preparing for professional ministry through field experience or internships.

Loretta has published a number of books and articles. Her latest books include: A Woman Reads the Gospel of Luke, Paul and Third World Women Theologians, Faith and Philosophy in the Writings of Paul Ricoeur, A Woman Writes Poetry, and Feminism and Beyond: A Theological Reflection for the Next Aeon.
